This episode takes us to just short of mid-1927–Blues, Gospel, Country, Jazz from the Paramount label’s large output in the mid-twenties as well as tracks from Gennett and the Black Patti label, established by Paramount A&R man, Mayo Williams, while he was still working for Paramount.
